David De Vito

I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Florida State University. My research explores how links between visual attention and emotion aid in the prioritization of stimuli in our environment or solely held in memory.

I have experience using a wide variety of quantitative research methods. My skills in data analysis include using machine learning algorithms through scikit-learn in python and fluency in analysis programs such as MATLAB, SPSS, JASP, and Microsoft Excel (using visual basic macros). I have presented my research results to various audiences and was awarded best presentation at an international conference on the science of human behaviour.
